A GRADE PLAY=OFF

PARK AND HAWERA LEVEL HAWERA WINS B GRADE. The South Taranaki inter-club tennis competitions were finalised on Saturday with the exception of the A grade event, in which a play-off is necessary between Park andi Hawera. Park entered the final through a narrow win over Sportsdale and Hawera I, v an easy win over Patea. In the other A grade match EUtham beat Manaia. . . , In the B grade competition Park and Hawera, the two unbeaten teams, had a, strenuous tussle. PARK BEATS SPORTSDALE. Sportsdale (Stratford) visited Park and after a really fine struggle, victory rested with the local team by the narrow margin of two matches and only four games.
