The United States Lawn Tennis Association, with only two or three dissenting voices, adopted a motion favouring an open tennis tournament, but referred the matter to the executive committee with power to act. The association recorded its disapproval of Hie practice of a number of '.dubs in allowing prominent players unlimited expense accounts while competing in club tournaments.
