OBITUARY
MR, HEATHCOAT LIVINGSTON. This morning a pioneer settler of the district, Mi- Heathcoat Livingston, died at his residence, Ohawe Road, after a comparatively short illness, at the age of 52 years. He had l suffered from diabetes for several years, but had been about as usual until a week ago. He was the youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs Jas. Livingston and was born at the old Waipapa homestead, on the South Road, liis parents being amongst the earliest and best known settlers in the district.
He leaves' a widow and one son, Roy. His sisters are Mrs J. H. Baker (Ha- 1 wera), Mrs M. Cameron (Takapau) and his brothers Messrs Fred (Inaha) and Guy (Takapau, Hawke’s Bay). The funeral will leave the late residence on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for the Hawera. Cemetery.
