X paid £l5O in cash and gave four promissory notes for £27 each. This included interest. I borrowed the £250 from my wife and gave her the furniture for it. T did not have sufficient | funds to keen a bookkeeper and I kept my own accounts. T got along well I enough during the first year, but last) year business started to go hack,/ •owing to the severe eomnetition in butchery businesses in Eltham and (ho general slackness ol trade. Owing to pressure hoing nut upon me by some of iuv creditors T came to the conclusion that m the interests of all my creditors my only proper course was to file.” Tn reply to Mr Gahites. _ bankrupt stated that he drew for living expenses from the sbo-o as required. Tie did not take a set wage and he had no real knowledge as to what his household expenses were as separate from his shop expenses. Ho claimed that his drawings had been verysmall. Tire 11.0. A. was empowered to reabse the hook debts. Tt was agreed (o dispose of Hie slum fittings bv auction sale at the earliest date possible. The realisation of the motor truck was also agreed to.
