OBITUARY
MR. C. H. LILLECRAPP, OF HAWERA. After a long illness a very old and highly respected settler of Hawera, Mr Charles Henry Lillecrapp, passed to hia rest just after midnight on Friday, at the age of 70. Coming to Taranaki ho years ago from Launceston, Devonshire, Mr Xallecrapp was farm manager for the late Mr J. F. Pease and continued in that position for many years. He was in good health and vigorous in mind and body until his last illness. Mr Lillecrapp did not take an active part in public affairs, but he was always a keen and liberal supporter of any movement for the good of the community. He was a devoted adherent of the Methodist; Church throughout the whole of his life and by his death the Haw r era church loses a very valued member. He is survived by his widow, but there is no family. Mrs Pinch, a sister of Mrs Lillecrapp, has lived with them for many years. Deceased had relations in Adelaide.
The funeral will leave Ms late residence, South Road, on Monday at 2 p.m.
