The death of Air Commander Charles Rumney Sa-mson, C.M.G., a pioneer pilot, is reported from London'. Mr E. Marfell, who has been a member of the Taranaki Agricultural Society for 50 years, was yesterday appointed a life member of the society. A Sydney message reports the death of Mr John West, a ember of the» House of Representatives, aged 79. He represented East Sydney for 21 years. The many friends of Rev. and Mrs. W.
