OLD RESIDENT’S DEATH. Mr Robert Ripley, aged 62, employed by Mr J. Campbell, Rawhitiroa Road, Eltlmm, was found dead in bed yesterday morning. He was formerly a resident of Omona district, where be was at one time engagd in fanning. An inquest concerning the death was held at Elthnm yesterday bofoie Mr W. L. Kennedy, coroner. Mr John Campbell gave evidence of deceased’s service on his farm and how lie found him dead in lied on Thursday. Dr. D. H. Saunders considered that death was due to heart failure, following a diseased state of the heart. Constable Townsend gave evidence, saying he had known deceased for nbout 15 years. He formerly had a sheep run at Omona. Th coroner returned a verdict of death from natural causes.
