THARRAWADDY REBELLION
TROUBLE SUBSIDING
MANY LIVES SACRIFICED

Copyright.) Received 11.45 a.m., to-day. DELHI, Jan. 9. An official statement says that the Tharrawaddy rebellion is subsiding and trouble in other ureas is definitely crushed.
During the last few days the Crown forces frequently clashed with rebels who are estimated to have lost over 250 dead and 300 wounded sinoo the outbreak started.
