JAPANESE BANK CLOSED. SOVIET’S SUDDEN POUNCE. -.United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. ’ TOKIO, Dec. 17. Soviet authorities suspended the Vladvostock branch of the Japanese Bank of Korea, and arrested the manager and others of the staff. The action follows a month’s close scrutiny of the branch’s books. It is understood that the hank’s operation interfered with the maintence of the official, artificial rouble exchange rate.
