PAVING FOR WAR
BRITAIN IS BADLY OFF. DEBTS EXCEED CREDITS. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, Dec. 15. Air Pethiek Lawrence, Financial Secretary to the - Treasury, told the House of Commons that the sum paid to the United States on war debt account to date exceeded Britain's re-' ceipts in respect of Allied war debts and reparations by £150,000,000.
