“BABY” CAR MYSTERY
ROUSE TO STAND TRIAL. (l. ua«-a Association- -By Electric Tea-graph Copyright.) LONDON, Dec. 16. Arthur, Alfred Rouse was committed for trial on a charge of murder after a prolonged sensational inquiry in the Police Court, which so far is without a hint regarding the personality oi tlie burnt man in the burnt car. When committed Rouse cried out: “1 am innocent.” The badly burned body of a man was found in the smouldering remains of a “baby” car at Hardingstone village last month. The police arrested the owner of the car, Arthur Alfred House, on a charge of murder. Despite all the efforts of the police, the identity of the man whose charred remains were found in the car has not been established.
