TORNADO DOES DAMAGE
VISITATION IN N.S.W. TOWN SLEEPER BLOWN INTO STREET FENCES AND TREES TORN UP. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 11 a.m. to-day. SY’DNEY, Dec. IS. A tornado unparalleled in fury struck Tamworth. The wind was over 60 miles an hour and there were rains and floods. Roofs were lifted bodily and the bulk store of Regan, Ltd., was blown down. Fences and trees were torn up and a flying corrugated iron roof struck electric' cables, depriving the town of light- and power.
