Chevalier, when he was knocked down by a motor van in Point Chevalier Road this morning. T‘fc.o boy, who received concussion and a. fracture of a leg, Was taken to Auckland. (Hospital, where he .died in the afternoon. The accident, happened at a sharp 'bend in the road. The boy, according to an eye-witness, was bowling a hoop across the- road when he was struck by 'the vehicle.
