Vital statistics of South Taranaki for the month of November this year show an increase of one birth, an increase o eight deaths and a Vdecrease, of one marriage as compared, with the same month last year. Details of registrations at the respective centres during November, 1930, together with corresponding figures for 1929 ill parenthesis, are as follow: Hawera. —Births, 16 (22); deaths, 6 (7), marriages, 6 (6). , Elthain.—Births. 10 (6); deaths, ml (]); marriages, 1 (2). Manaia.—Births, 3 (3); deaths, 2 (1), marriages, nil (2). Opium ke. — 7 (4) • X (nil) ; marriages, 2 (nil). Kaponga.—Births, 8 (3); deaths. 2 (1); marriages, 1 (nil). Waver!ey. —Births, 4 (7); deaths, 3 (3); marriages, 2 (2). Patea.—Births, 5 (7); deaths, 7 (nil) ; marriages, 1 (2). Totals: Births, 53 (52); deaths, 21 (13); marriages, 13 (14).
