The Methodist .Rose' and Sweet Pea Show to be l held next Wednesday and Thursday is one of the leading annual functions of its kind held in Hawera and! always attracts large entries in all sections. Competitors are sending in < their entries well and it is to be noted tnat the time for closing is on Tuesday ’ next at 8.30 p.m. In connection with the show there will be a remarkably fine exhibit of war trophies, which will include the collection made by Mr T. E. Bickford, of Mokoia. People who have seen these consider them one of the finest and it will be a privilege to all who attend to see this unique collection.
