A prominent fasting man known as “Jolly” but whose real name is Doctor Adolph Glueltsmann, famous for his lengthy fasts which he conducted in glass cases, has committed suicide. There is somewhat of a slump in the fasting business, resulting in a diminution of incomes. “Jolly” left a letter stating that he was driven to suicide because he had nothing to eat.
