AIR FATALITIES
FEWER IN PROPORTION. USE OF SAFETY DEVICES. (United Press Association —By, Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, Nov. 26. In the House of Commons, Mr. Frederick Montague, Under-Secretary for Air. in answer to a question, said that though) the 62 Air Force fatalities in 1930 exceeded those of lost year, there had been practically the. same average for the past five years. when much less flying was done proportionately to this year.
This year’s accidents were lower than any year since 1921 as_ a result of the adoption of safety devices.
