AIR POLSON’S FARM FIGURES

(To the Editor.; ;Sir, —In reading Air Poison’s letter I cannot make out his figures for the working a 120 acre farm. Things axe bad enough 1 know, but making them out to be as bad as this balance-sheet shows, does not help matters. The spreading of pessimistic stories and forecasts hits back sometimes, as I had proof to-day 'when a lender on mortgage refused to complete after reading Air Poison’s letter in your paper—which shows the power of the Press. The lender said that if those figures of Mr 'Poison’s were correct, he would be safer ini lending 'his m-oney to the Government. I propose to compare Mr Poison’s ,balance-sheet with, what I consider to bo a fairer- estimate of the
