ME LLOYD GEORGE’S CRITICISM, (United Brass Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). LONDON, Oct. 25. Protesting against the Government’s policy in Palestine, Mr Lloyd George, when receiving the Freedom of Cambridge, said the Balfour Declaration was prepared after considera,sipn not merely of the policy, but of the actual wording by representatives of all the Allied associated countries, including '■America and the' Dominion Prime Ministers. Now, without consulting the Dominions or anyone else, the Government had issued a statement which was a revocation of the pledges given tne Jewish community in a most solemn “moment.
Mr Lloyd George concluded: “We shall be held up to the world once more as perfidious Albion. ’ ’
