LAST NIGHT’S MEETING. A VALIJALE PAPER. The meeting of the W.E.A. last night .in the Borough .Chambers was very interesting, including as it did a Valuable paper on “The History of Medicine,” written by Dr. J. McGliie. This was followed with keen interest.
In addition, there Avas a reading of one of Barrie’s plays, “Half-an-hour,” in which the parts ivere taken by Mrs C. Freyberg, Mrs Strange, Messrs G. Clmck/ Anderson. A. Duggan and W. G. Simpson. All entered fully into the spirit of the play and gave a capital interpretation of the characters.
