DENIAL BY MINISTER
HELP FOR AGRICULTURE. SUGGESTED REDUCTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVLRKE. Oct. 25. Speaking at the opening of the Dannevirke Co-operative Corporation’s new dairy factory at Umataoroa Hon. A. T. Murdoch* Minister of Agriculture denied absolutely that there was any intentions of reducing the vote for agriculture as the Government recognised that the agricultural and pastoral in■fustry was of all importance to the Dominion. It would not, he said, be bis fault if agriculture in the Dominion did not get a lift along, providing of course, that circumstances and finance permitted.
