GOOD PRrZES IN DAIRY SECTION The attention of all breeders of live stack is drawn, to the schedul-d of classes for the coming spring show, which will be held at Hawera on November 19 and 20. In the Dairy, Section alone cash and trophies to the value of £254 are offered for competition in addition to the cash and points prizes in the various breed sections. The dairy yaw, purebred or otherwise, is offered ji silver tea. service valued at 25 guineas as a first prize to be won outright. Also the yearling dairy heifer class has a silver tea service valued at 15 guineas offered for an outright win. A new feature of this year’s show is a fat lamb 'championship for which £2O prize-money is offered. The- exhibits will be .judged at Hawera, -when, the following prizes will be allotted,: First. £5, second £3, third 2. The lambs will be killed and shipped to Lund'on through the Paten Freezing Co., Ltd., where the carcases will be .judged and prizes of first £5, second £3, and 1 third £2 will In' awarded. All exhibits' in iliis•class will' be sent to 'London, not the prize-winners only.

For tlie school chi I lire,Tv classes for c/dves, ponies, both open and school ponies only. Highland! dancing, cooking, fancy work and rural sections are included.
