Thousands are* being refused admission to Canada under the stringent regulations. initiated by the Prime Alinistcr. Air R. I>. Bennett, six weeks ago. These are mainly from foreign countries, but the Customs are interpreting the new restrictions regarding British as preventing the admission of these likely to take jobs spway form Canadians in the present depression. V number are being turned down from Australia and New Zealand due to the fact that the new regulations have apparently not been explained there yet.
