GALE ON SHOWGROUNDS
PLYING IRON CAUSES INJURY (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Oct. 23. During yesterday’s gale a strip of galvanised iron w r as torn off a stall at the grounds of the Royal Show and struck A. E. Clark, of Bridge Pah, who sustained a severe gash on the back on her neck. She was taken to the hospital, but was reported this morning to be progressing favourably.
