FIRE AT HOKITIKA
FANCY GOODS SHOP DAMAGED

Fire at 6.30 o’clock this morning gutted Toehey’s Arcade, stationery and fancy "goods, the contents being ruined by fire, smoke and water. The shop, a portion of Arch Little’s building, -was not structurally damaged. There was no insurance onl the stock, but the building wa,s insured fesr £SOO.
