The chairman of the Manaia Town Board (Mr. A. H. Yarrow) and the members of the board entertained! the town clerk, Mr. Ross, at a social function pi ior to his departure to Inglewood AH members of the hoard spoke' ancl praised Mr. Ross on the efficient manner in' which he had carried out his duties, and wished him success in his new position.
The guest of the evening was presented with a fountain pen ars a is'mall recognition of his services.
