The annual report of Skelton, Frostir and Co,. Ltd., boot manufacturers, states the profit and loss account shows an adverse balance of £9477, which includes a loss of £3877 carried forward. The volume of .business during the year was lower due., to the depression. The directors have decided to close the Wellington branch and to close the indent department. They recommend that ordinary capital, £30,362 10s, re, "resenting 12,145 fully-paid shares of £2 10s each he written down, by £] 10s a .share. The directors also ask preference ishareholdom to forego their dividends, of which there is an accumulation of £SOOO unpaid to March 31, 1931.
