AL SINGER KNOCKED OUT

Jimmy McLarnin knocked out A 1 Singer, the junior welterweight champion, in two minutes twenty-one •seconds of the third round of a scheduled 10-rouiul bout. The title was not at stake. McLarnin weighed lOstand Singer list 8,1 lb. They fought on even terms in the first round and McLarnin had the advantage in the second. In the third Singer was dow.ned for a count of nine, after which McLarnin administered the coup de grace.
