It is understood that the three Oliii.n,se spent a holiday in New Zealand some time ago as temporary residents ~iily aii j then left for Peru. The Peruvian consul at Auckland visaed their pass nor ts, hut did not apparently make sufficient inquiries ais to the practicability of their landing in the country. They were, at all events, refused admission to Pern, and they either embarked or were put aboard the Ruapehu at Panama returning to New Zealand. When they' reached here they were not allowed entry. The Chinese consul in Wellington, is communicating with, some of the passengers’ friends at. Auckland in order to- find out what is to he done with tlmm and whether they can be sent, back to China. If guarantors can be found l for them 1 they will probably be admitted as temporary residents bur in the meantime they are still aboard the. vessel.
