HAWERA MAIN SCHOOL BAND
COMMITTEE] AND PARENTS
The Hawera. Alain School Band Committee met the parents of boys in regard to the band on Wednesday evening, Air. A. Thomas presiding. The necessity of home practices was emphasised by Air. H. C. A. Fox, who spoke briefly on the value of the hand as a musical education for the boys. He asked for their help to establish the band firmly and ensure progress. The parents undertook to co-operate with the committee, and a vote of thanks was accorded Mr. Fox for his work in organising the hand. The instruments were distributed today midi lessons will commence next .week.
