MT. EGMONT CLUB REPRESENTED.
(By Telegraph-Special to “The Star.") WELLINGTON, Sept. 12. At* a meeting of delegates of alpine and tramping clubs held here, a federation of all clubs represented was formed Eleven clubs were represented, the delegates of the Mt. Egmont Alpine Club being Messrs D. O. Hooker (president) and R. Syme (captain). A subcommittee, consisting of the folloAving, was appointed to draw up the constitution of the federation and place it oij a proper footing: Messrs Harper. .Hooker, Haggard, Thornton, Stl son, Murie, and Wireh.
