STEAMER STRIKES REEF
ALL OF CREW RESCUED. (United Pres? Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 12.15 p.m. to-day. CAPE TOWN, vSept. 10. The tramp steamer Malmesbury, bound from the Cape and loaded with maize*, struck a reef near Cape Columbine in a thick fog. A tug rescued the crew and the steamer was abandoned.
