RUBBER PRICES IMPROVE

RUGBY, Sept. 9.
There was a slight improvement in the priee of rubber in London to-day. Spot rubber was dealt in at up 1 0' 4 1-1 (id per lb, an improvement of 3-16 d on, yesterday's low record. Some of the leading shares were marked up. There was an absence of selling pressure.
