A heavy yarding of all classes of cattle: came forward l at the stock sale held at Frankton. to-dav. There was keen competition lor ox and cow beef, but no increase in prices was. recorded. For a very large entry of sheep competition was fair at last week’s rates. Fat pigs were yarded in average numbers land met with a steady demand, prices being on a par with late rates. The auctioneers quote as follows: Heavy prime fat bullocks, £l6 4s to £l7 Is; medium, £l3 10s to £l4 17s; heavy prime fat cows, £l3 15s. to £ls; heavy fat cows. £ll Is to £l3 7s Gd;! prime fat heifers, £ll 4s to £l3 ss; fat cows, £9 5s to £lO 8s; medium fat cows, £8 to £8 15s; lighter, £6 5s to £7 17s 6d; fresh conditioned cows, £6 10s. to £7 ss; others, £3 17s 6d to £4 17s; 8-months steers, £5 6s to £6 6s; fat wethers. 20s to 31s; fat hoggets, 22s to 24s Id; medium fat hoggets. 18s to 18s 6d; store hoggets, 13s; store ewes, 11s to 15s; light baconers, £2 11s to £2 18s; light porkers, £2 5s to £2 9s; stores, 39s to £2 ss; slips, 30s to to 355 ; weaners. 20s to 275; sows in pig, £3 5s to £6.
