S.M., said the presumption being against the wrongdoer, he had: to give judgment for £4O in respect of skins said to bo missing. People had no- right to take the law into their own hands, and to mark the court’s, disapproval he allowed £5 damages for wrongful entry. For wrongful detention of a- coat and a- fur from the shop he allowed £l4 5s and for assault on Airs. O’Connor £3 — a total of £62 5s —with an order f°r the return of the coat and fur. On the, counter-claim for rent and damages in regard to, the state O’Connor h’d left the premises, Mrs. Wilson was awarded £49 15s.
