WHALER IN STORM

CAPE TOWN, Sept. 9.
A 90-ton Norwegian whaler which was bound for South Georgia returned. Her deck cargo and coal were' swept overboard by mountainous seas and the captain hove-to for three days 750 miles west of Cape Town. The seas topped the masthead.
