GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
The semi-finals of the senior and junior golf club championships have been completed, the insults being as follow : —- Senior: Stevenson heat Julian .4 and 2; 'Edmonds heat McGregor 4 and 3. Stevenson and Edmonds meet in the final.
Junior: Boyle beat Dud lev 3 and 2; Harding beat' Bradley 3 and 2; Boyle and Harding play oil'.

Owing to the difficulty of fielding a team to play off with Kap-ongn. in the semi-final of the third grade football competition, it has been decided that High School will withdraw.
Mrs T. N. Watt has been appointed District Commissioner of the Girl Guides for Opunake and Manain. Mrs A. J. Brennan has returned from a holiday visit to Invercargill.
