’PLANE EXPLODES IN PLIGHT FOUR OCCUPANTS KILLED TWO ESCAPE BY PARACHUTE. (United Fress Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 3 n.m. to-d ! av. PARIS. Aug. 27. Night flying exercises of the 22nd Aviation Regiment were marred by three crashes, involving ten deaths. One bomber, as already reported, accounted for six death's when it crashed into a street, and a second machine with a crew of six exploded in mid-air and burst into flames and then nose-dived. Two escaped by means of parachutes, hut the other four were killed. ihe third piano crashed at a hangar when taking off and one was injured.
