FORCED DOWN ON GOLF COURSE
PLANE DAMAGED AT MANLY. GOVERNOR’S SON AS PASSENGER. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). SYDNEY, Aug. 26. An aeroplane piloted by WingCommander Gifford, who is aide-de-camp to the State Governor, and was carrying the Governor’s son. Philip Game, made a forced landing at the Manlv golf links to-day. Slight damage to the aeroplane resulted, but the. o c .pants were unharmed.
