FIRE IN DRAPERY SHOP
ELECTRIC IRON LEFT ON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MASTER TON, Aug, 26. An electric iron wliicn was left switched on was the cause of a fire to-night in the Mi op of G. Melvor, draper. The fire was discovered by a next-door tenant, W. G. Perry. The brigade quickly ■had tlie outbreak suppressed, but not before considerable damage was done to Melvor’s new stock, which had arrived that day. Some of the stock in the the shop‘suffered through smoke and water. Perry’s stock also suffered slightly. The need few protection against fire loss is obvious.
