BLASTING MISHAP
MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. PREMATURE EXPLOSION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 26. As the result of a blasting accident on Summit Road, Arthur Roy Thomson, a single man, received extensive head injuries, and his condition is serous. 'He placed a charge in a hole and an explosion occurred while he was covering it.
