YOUTH SHOT IN BACK
ACCIDENT WHILE RABBITING, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Aug. 25.. While out rabbit shooting yesterday a lad named Maurice Danks, aged 15, was accidentally shot by a companion with a pea. rifle, but fortunately no vital organs are' affected. Danks was about to gather in a rabbit which had been wounded, when the animal commenced to move. His companion fired, striking Danks in the back. He was operated on this morning.
