STUDENTS AT HAWERA SECOND DAY OF SEASON INTEREST MAINTAINED. The public interest manifested in the Hawera. Competitions Festival was well maintained to-day when the programme was .resumed at the Opera House before an audience of over 300. At the Presbyetrian Hall the attendance was scarcely up to yesterday’s standard, but was nevertheless encouraging to the promoters. Competition in all classes was keen and numerous interpretations evoked wellearned applause. An attractive programme i;s set down for this evening at the Opera House.
