HAWERA CLUB. PROGRESS OF COMPETITIONS. An impromptu competition, a. medal handicap, was put, on on Saturday afternoon which brought forward a hurge number of entries'. Mevriek and Sugar lost to Urwin and Fisher, 1 down. Grace and MeHattie heat Allen and Budget, 4—3. Muir and Morflock heat Williams ancl Penn, 6 5. Afternoon. Morpeth and Whitehead beat Anderson and Jefferies, 3—l. Wells and Hay-Mackenzie all square with Buii-mister and Curtis.
