LEAGUE TOUR, OF AUSTRALIA. (Bv Teiegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 19. The League Rugby team returned from Australia to-day by the Ulimaroa. The manager, Mr. W. J. Taylor, said that the tour was a very trying one. The team had been dogged by misfortune, and after six games had been played 16 men had been injured out of 22. ' They met teams with a standard of play unexcelled in any part of the world. He was still of the belief that hi.s team was the best League side ever to leave New Zealand.
