Professor Percival presented a report of the progress of the work, and stated that Air A . W. Parrott, biologist to the committee, was continuing his study of the life his tov of the trout. Tt was decided' to (postpone until Maxell of next year the appointment of a biologist to replace Captain Phillips, whose three wears’ appointment with 'the Wellington Acclimatisation Society was expired.
