Mr Mackenzie King, andi the Prime Minis-ter-elect. Mr R. B. Bennett, Sir Denniston Burney, designer of airship RIOO. urged that Canada take the next step in putting the British Elmpire in the forefront of airship transportation through the inauguration of a transAtlantic service between Britain and Canada before the service between Germany and the United States planned by 3>r. Kokener gets under way. Sir Dennistoun Burney asked for the formation of a committee of prominent Canadian businessmen to investigate the situation during the next few days, and decide whether the Canadian Government and business interests _ wejre prepared' to hack a trans-Atlantic air service. With the views of the committee before him he would, be able to lay a concrete propostion before the British Government on his return to London. He proposed a fleet of ships capable of a. 6000-mile flight, with 100 passengers and ten tons of mail.
