DANGEROUS DRUG PRESCRIPTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Aug. 0 At the Police Court this morning Frederick Valentine, a. veterinary practitioner. was fined £o on a charge of giving a prescription for a dangerous drug for purposes other than animal treatment, and was convicted and discharged on a further similar charge. Mr Harper. S.M., dismissed a charge of failing to keep a proper .register of alii transactions in relation to the disposal of the drug, pointing out that there was doubt a>s to- whether accused dispensed the drug from his own premises.
