CAR COLLIDES WITH EXPRESS
COMMERCIAL TRAVELLER INJURED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) ROTORUA. July 30. The Auckland-Rotorua express yesterday afternoon, ooflideid with a car owned and driven In- A. E. S. ■Cooksona commercial traveller, at a level ciossiim between Tirau and Putarum. Cook roil was severely cut a,bout the head and suffered other injuries, and! was brought by train to King Street Hospital!. His condition this morning, wa.s fair. _ The crossing is open and there is no apparent reason for the collision. Cootson is single and is very highly respecteijji and is a capable motorist.
