SHEARING DEADLOCK
NEW SOUTH WALES DISPUTE
AGITATORS’ WORK BLAMED GRAZIERS STAND FIRM. (United Preen Association w ßy Electric Teiegrapn Copyright.) Received 2.45 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, July 30. Mr J. W. Allen, general secretary ol the Graziers’ Association, stated that the shearing position in the north-west wa’s undoubtedly serious.
It was apparent, he declared, that professional agitators were concentrating in this area, with the object of defeating the graziers, and the union leaders seemed to be speaking two voices, some distorting the decision of the Australian Workers’ Union interstate committee and the others endeavouring to induce the shearers to work.
The graziers are standing firm and have no intention of giving way.
